Since we are starting the winter now, who don’t want to have a cup of their favorite drink, with a cozy blanket on a windy seat!!
I will be sharing how I did my easy DIY window seat that I shared with you on my instagram, and you all loved it. the way I did it was not the best or the perfect way for sure but it is for me:)
without talking too much I will start the list of stuff I used to make this happen:

مين مايحب بالشتاء يجلس بمكان ملموم مع مشروب ساخن و بطانيه دافيه، هذي الفكره بحالها خلتني اسوي جلسة النافذه الي كلكم شفتوها على انستقرام
بشارككم طريقتي وكيف سويت الجلسه مع المبلغ الي كلفتني بالضبط، ممكن البعض يشوفها مو صحيحه او فيها عيوب بس انا احسها جدا مناسبه وكامله بالنسبه لي
بدون كلام كثير ببدا احط لكم الادوات الي استخدمتها
- Nail gun
مسدس المسامير هذا الي عندي بالضبط، ممتاز ومفيد لتثبيت الخشب بالخشب(الخصم الي عليه جدا ممتاز
- wood planks قطع خشب انا استخدمت عرضين موجودين عندي من مشاريع سابقه
- 2 play wood sheets to cover the top and the front, لوحين من الخشب لتغطية الجانب و سطح المقعد
- nails دريل ومسامير
- paint دهان
- معجون
Firsts step الخطوة الاولى
After preparing everything you should start by measuring the 3 walls that you want your window seat to be in, check the hight that you want and make sure that you write everything.
بعد ماتختارون المكان الي حابين تكون فيه الجلسه خوذوا مقاسات المكان مضبوط، الارتفاع والعرض للجدران الي بتكون الجلسه عليها
Second step الخطوة الثانيه
now it is time to cut the wood and attache it to the wall, I worked on a 3 walls, so I attached 3 horizontal and 4 vertical, the bellow picture will explain more.
وقت قص الخشب على حسب المقاسات، انا ركبت ٤ اعمده بالزوايا و ركبت ٣ افقي على الثلاث جدران، الصوره التاليه بتوضح لكم الشكل بعد ماخلصت من هذه الخطوة
Third step الخطوة الثالثة
we have the base now, it is getting easier, now all i did was attaching the front and to top parts, I started with the from part and I nailed it against the frame we already built, I used my Nail gun
الحين عندنا الاساس، الموضوع سهل صار، كل الس سويته هو ثبت لوح الخشب بالوجه، استخدمتمسدس
I wanted it to open from the top since I don’t have much space for storage on the side, so we did this cut in the middle for it to open when I need extra storage. this picture will show the top part.
ماعندي مكان اسوي ادراج تنسحب فقررت اسويها بفتحه من فوق، زي الصندوق، قصيت اللوح بشكل مربع وركب عليها فصالات عشان تنفتح زي الباب وقت ما احتاج اخزن فيها قطع
Fourth step الخطوة الرابعة
now all you have to do is caulk, prime, and paint:)
الحين كل الي بتسوونه هو تسدون الفراغات بمعجون وتدهنون الخشب وبكذا يكون كامل
total coast التكلفه الكامله للمشروع
Total cost is 180 riyals which is almost $48
المشروع كلفني تقريبا ١٨٠ ريال
